What can I expect during my first session?
Whether you are attending therapy for your own needs or the concerns of you child, the first session is an opportunity to get to know each other, explore what is bringing you to therapy, establish therapy goals and to develop a plan to move forward. 

Where are you located?
Suite 201 - 1982 Kensington Rd. NW. 
Calgary, Alberta. 
There is free parking directly in front of the building. 

What are your hours?
Weekday mornings, afternoon and evening appointments are available. 
Appointments can be booked by phone or through email. 

What are your fees?
The fee for is $200 per 55-minute session.  Payment is due at the end of each session. 

Do you offer sliding scale?
Yes!  If finances are a barrier for you to access counselling services, please reach out to discuss further.  The sliding scale at Luminescence Creative Counselling offers a range of 10% - 20% off each session.  In order for the sliding scale to be sustained, there are a set number of spaces available. 

What payment methods to you accept?
Payment can be made by cash, e-transfer or credit card. 

Do you provide Direct Billing?
I offer direct billing with Alberta Blue Cross and Physician and Family Support Program.  Contact your insurance provider to verify your coverage plan.  Upon payment of each session, you will provided with a detailed receipt with my  registration number and my designation as a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW). 

What is your cancellation policy?
Your appointment is held for you.  If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment, please contact me as soon as possible.  Please note that a minimum of 24-hours notice is required for cancelled appointments to avoid financial responsibility for the full appointment fee.
